[Roughly at the same time as the First Council Meeting] "Do you mean you cannot swim?! FOOL! Come with me!"
The words of an annoyed warlord rang out as she promptly dragged her Master across the campus towards the pool. How such a thing even came up was simple: during a discussion of some basic tactics, the demon lord brought up the notion of possible water-based combat. After all, with so many Servants it was inevitable someone would have a water-based attack, so they needed to prepare for that possibility. She had heard her fair share of stories in life, and as a Servant she was gifted with much more knowledge, so it was well within the realm of possibility for an enemy to appear that could flood an area or something to that effect.
"So, Gabriel, in the event that an enemy Servant floods the area, how long can you keep your head above water?"
"In all honestly I don't have much experience with water. And so I don't have an answer for you."
Thus leading us to the present scene of the military-uniform clad woman dragging the boy across the campus, her cape occasionally flapping in his face behind her. While she was about the same size as him, it was easy enough due to being a Servant. She had no real remorse about treating her Master in such a way, feeling that until he proved himself a proper Master he was her inferior. Neither wore any kind of swimwear but it did not matter. Once they reached the fenced perimeter of the pool, she cleared the relatively small fence in one leap, pulling Gabriel with her.
The pool was a simple one, as one would expect from a school pool; it had diving spots on one end for swim teams, but was otherwise mostly not decorated. It did not even have a good diving board, or any kind of chair or sitting spot beyond the green-painted ground around the pool. It was not terribly deep, but it would do for their needs. She eyed the body of water with the same eyes one would analyze an opposing army, before looking at the boy she had dragged with her. It would certainly do for his first swimming lessons.
"This is your first opportunity to prove your worth, Gabriel! LEARN TO SWIM!"
And with that, she tossed him haphazardly into the pool. She offered no kind of visual aid on how to actually swim, thinking that survival would be the best teacher of all. She simply crossed her arms across her chest and watched on to see the results of their venture.

Gabriel was admittedly a bit of a people-pleaser. He couldn’t help it – it was simply how he’d been raised. A virtuous person, his aunts had always said, kept their mouth closed and their thoughts clean. And they certainly didn’t question their elders.
Archer – or Nobunaga – was most definitely his elder even if she didn’t exactly look it. And so, like a good and accommodating master, he’d for the most part allowed himself to be dragged all across this strange campus to wherever she was taking him. Every so often he would attempt some quiet little protest, but he wasn’t sure she noticed or cared. Probably not. Still, it wouldn’t do to yell at her.
Of course he hadn’t really banked on her tossing him into a pool after he’d just gotten finished telling her that he couldn’t swim.
It is difficult to accurately describe what it feels like to be tossed into a pool filled with water when you can’t actually…feel. There was no sudden chill, no uncomfortable wet clothing – nothing like that. The only thing that Gabriel could in fact pick up from it was a slight increase in pressure and a definite feeling of displacement. And displacement was, unfortunately, one of the very few things in this world that he actually feared. He was already missing one extremely key sense, and going underwater meant losing – or at least distorting – quite a few more of them. The terror that came with that realization almost beat out the terror associated with, you know, drowning.
Almost.
To his credit, he wasn’t about to just lay there and die. After a few long moments of sinking like a stone, Gabe began to kick and flail his way back to the water’s surface. He took a breath a bit too quickly and wound up with a mouth full of water. The ensuing choking fit sent him sinking again, but by some miracle he managed to catch himself and push himself toward the edge of the pool – which he then proceeded to grab onto for dear life.
He was shaking now, but he wasn’t sure why. Perhaps he was cold. Regardless of whether or not he could feel it, his body would react the same way to chilly water in an attempt to warm itself up. Or maybe it was fear? He’d never in his life been frightened to the point of actually trembling – and he didn’t think that he was now – but this experience had certainly not been pleasant. “A-at least tell me how to do it!” He shouted up at his servant once he was finished spitting up water. Actually shouted. That shocked even Gabriel himself.
Afterward he paused for a moment, seemingly considering his mistake, and softly added… “…Please.”
It was rude to yell, after all, regardless of whether or not the person you’re yelling at attempted to murder you.

Many Servants, when their Master is in danger, would certainly do something to save them. After all, to a Servant, the Master is the lifeline they lived by. To protect them is to protect yourself, and so even the most selfish of Servants has a reason to guard their Master. They were your means at experiencing being alive again, even if it was inside of a giant moon rock, so no matter how pathetic they might be all Masters have at least some value. Nobunaga was no different in this regard, and she would no doubt act to preserve her Master if she believed her were in actual danger.
Of course, a non-violent unmoving body of water was not threatening. She did honestly consider that if he could not even overcome this much that he was not worth it as a Master. The boy was interesting to be sure, but he had quite a lot of growing to do before his true worth would be shown. She was one who nurtured potential into talent so of course she'd do what she could to help him. Her methods would just happen to be...extreme at times, befitting her tyrannical appearance and demeanor. As the poor boy flailed all she did was stand there and watch, eyes judging his worth with a small smirk on her face as he managed to succeed in the first part of swimming: not drowning without help. To make it even better, he began to speak up.
And so the warlord could not help but laugh. It was a hearty laugh befitting one in a seat of power such as herself. Just as suddenly as it started, it ended and her expression turned to one of anger, borderline violent.
"DO YOU NOT SEE IT? YOU DID IT ALREADY! USE YOUR ARMS AND LEGS!" she quite loudly shouted, her arms leaving her chest as a rifle manifested in one hand. She slammed it down barrel first, resting a hand on the butt of the rifle like one would a cane. Of course, the spot it slammed down was right next to the hands of Gabriel. It was one of those frustrating moments where he did not put two and two together even after literally doing it, even if he were not aware of it, "AND DO NOT EVEN BEGIN TO THINK YOU ARE A PROPER MASTER! YOU HAVE A LONG WAY BEFORE YOU ARE READY TO FACE ANY BREED OF ENEMY, LET ALONE ONE WORTHY OF BELIEVING WE ARE EQUALS!"
Perhaps it was just poor luck that saw the unaware, inexperienced boy paired up with the merit-based warlord. If he wanted to prove himself though, he'd have to start accomplishing things and fast. Otherwise, who knew how long he'd have to be on the receiving end of the explosively short fuse that was Nobunaga's temper.

Assassin could say two things for sure. He was surprised someone actually managed to summon him and his master was probably the only person that suitable to be his master, though many people would benefit from his experiences Assassin felt like he would be instrumental for that kid.
Still you didn't overcome stubbornness in a day and well Assassin wasn't the type that saw it as a negative trait. With some polishing he had a good potential. That was probably the slight irrationality of Assassin, he was so much better at people managing than he was about ending and destroying lives.
Standing on a lamp post, Assassin had been... ehm... given leave to look around, in a manner of speaking. It made the white haired Assassin smirk, his master attitude was one he felt indulging. If he had been summoned slightly older then he wouldn't tolerate it but, well only a rascal will be with a rascal.
There was some activity going around the campus, but nothing really intrigued Assassin who with his pipe intricate design pipe smoked calmly. Then he saw something amusing. A pair, a servant dragging his master. Like a unscrupulous rogue Assassin couldn't help but eavesdrop, they were hardly being subtle about it, so Assassin didn't even have to use his lousy presence concealment to approach what he'd judged to be a range where he'd be instantly sensed.
So the Assassin smoked and smiled amused from afar. He could tell and analyse both pretty well from his location. The Servant was hot blooded but tempered, the master was obedient and polite.
"It's almost like a Lord and a Retainer in a play keheh..." Assassin stated, then he saw something which he recognized, from history books. Now he couldn't avoid this encounter, he doubted anyone from his nation could at this point. The servant, the woman dressed in black.
"Can't leave things as they are like these, poor pup will drown with that harsh mistress."
Assassin approached in a calm manner, one arm casually inside his autumn patterned Yukata while the other scratching the back of neck. His pipe resting on his lips.
"Well just like the history books say, Oda is pretty strict to its men." He spoke, his tone taking a more reverent tone. He eyed and smirked at the Demon King, he was standing before a legend. Assassin was a punk yes, but he was also a lot of things at the same time.
Assassin strolled calmly and sat near the edge of the pool though not that near to Nobunaga nor to the drowning Gabriel as a sign of respect and that he wasn't trying to be a threat.
"Got a trick for your Master, Oda-Danna save his hide it can, if we get a flood. If you'll allow it." Assassin took a deep inhalation from his pipe then exhaled. He didn't seem in a rush to save someone in danger.
"Meanwhile pup, lose the shoes and jacket they'll just weight you down." He said, inhaling again and breathing out, leaving the air smelling of tabbaco.
